Solly’s Song
When I grow up I’ll get so high
I’ll drink the fountains of the sky.
I’ll use tall towers as my easy chair
And twist the sun to dry my hair.
Once I slept in the smallest box,
Sand and pebbles were as big as rocks,
Dogs were horses, bushes trees
And all I saw were feet and knees.
Now I’m a boy and in-between
To grow up tall I’m mighty keen.
Soon I’ll fight to get my share of pie,
And see the world with equal eye.
